Francesco Colasanti

Head of Europe, Co-Head of European NPL

Mr. Colasanti is Head of Europe and the Co-Head of the European NPL business based in Madrid. He serves on the Leadership Committee, as well as several investment committees.

Mr. Colasanti joined Fortress in Italy in 2001 and has led the main investment processes in the real estate, non-performing loan and traditional private equity sectors. Mr. Colasanti has been a member of the Board of doValue since October 2015. Since 2013, Mr. Colasanti has overseen the investment strategy of Eurocastle Investment Limited, a closed-end investment company managed by Fortress and listed on the Euronext Amsterdam, and also serves on the Investment Committees of the Fortress Italian NPL Opportunities Fund and of the Fortress European NPL Opportunities Fund II. Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Colasanti worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers on the audit and transaction support team.

Mr. Colasanti received a degree in Economics and Business from LUISS University of Rome.
