Seth Ruthen

Global Co-Head of Client and Product Solutions Group

Seth Ruthen, is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of the Client and Product Solutions Group, focusing on institutional sales, product management and the Private Wealth Solutions business.

Before joining Fortress, Mr. Ruthen spent 10 years at Apollo Global Management and was a partner responsible for launching and raising new flagship credit products as well as a variety of other strategies globally, and for expanding the platform into new geographies across institutional, retail, insurance, and other channels. He also launched the Innovation Team, a firmwide product development effort. Mr. Ruthen previously spent 17 years at PIMCO where he was an Executive Vice President, primarily involved in institutional account management, marketing, product advocacy and client solutions. Before PIMCO, he was an associate with the Chase Manhattan Bank.

Mr. Ruthen holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Economics from Cornell University. For more than a decade, he has been a board member of the Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation, an organization which focuses on domestic violence prevention for children.
