Scott Werthamer

Global Co-Head of Client and Product Solutions Group

Scott Werthamer is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Client & Product Solutions Group at Fortress where he is responsible for institutional sales, product management and the Private Wealth Solutions business. Mr. Werthamer serves on various committees, including the ESG and cybersecurity steering committees.

Since joining Fortress in 2008, Mr. Werthamer has been focused on capital formation across the platform, and has played a key role in building and scaling the team and infrastructure to support the growth of Fortress’s fundraising efforts and client relationships. Before joining Fortress, he worked at Morgan Stanley in the Global Fund Derivatives Group, where he was responsible for structuring and selling hedge fund-linked products, and at Fortis Bank, where he focused on scaling the bank's fund-linked platform. He began his career at Ivy Asset Management, an alternative investment management firm specializing in fund of hedge funds.

Mr. Werthamer holds a B.B.A. in Finance (with Honors) from The George Washington University, where he remains an active alumnus of the School of Business. He is an active contributor in his community, with a passion for supporting youth education and athletics, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Scarsdale Little League
