Global Co-Head of Insurance Solutions

Pradip Ghosh is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Insurance Solutions at Fortress where he oversees the firm’s strategic activity in insurance which includes building investment solutions tailored to the needs of insurance companies as well as investments in insurance and reinsurance platforms. He is based in New York.

Mr. Ghosh has over 25 years of experience in the insurance, asset management and financial services industries and, over various points of his career, he has acted as an advisor, operator, equity partner and investor. Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Ghosh was part of the Executive Leadership Team at American Equity Life, where he led strategic initiatives across investments, capital management, reinsurance and M&A as well as supported the expansion of the company’s go-to-market activities. Previously he held senior roles at multiple institutions including Ares Management, where he was responsible for the management company’s investments in the insurance sector, and Lehman Brothers, where he executed insurance-focused transactions across investment banking, fixed income, equities and asset management divisions.

Mr. Ghosh graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Economics-Mathematics.
