Mark Lane

Global Head of Corporate Communications

Mark Lane is Global Head of Corporate Communications, based in New York. In this role, he oversees all communications, brand and corporate marketing globally.

Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Lane held a variety of leadership roles at Barclays, most recently as Global Co-Head of Communications for the bank's Corporate and Investment Banking businesses. He previously was a lead spokesperson at Lehman Brothers in both London and New York. He has over two decades of experience in providing strategic communications and marketing counsel, including on brand builds, crisis management, and corporate initiatives such as M&A transactions, equity and debt offerings, restructurings, and bankruptcies.

Mr. Lane holds a B.A. (Hons) with Distinction in French Studies.
