Greg Shoemaker

Global Co-Head of Private Equity

Greg Shoemaker is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Private Equity; he is based in Los Angeles.

Mr. Shoemaker participates in origination, execution and asset management of equity investments across industries. Throughout his career he has originated a variety of corporate debt, commercial real estate and equity investments. Prior to joining Fortress in 2010, Mr. Shoemaker was a Director at Coast Asset Management where he co-led the structured products group, managing and trading collateralized loan obligations (“CLOs”) and credit derivatives. Mr. Shoemaker serves on various boards on behalf of Fortress investments, including United Pacific, Island Energy, Punch Taverns, Archer Systems and Refuel.

Mr. Shoemaker received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
