Eric Golden

Co-Head of Asia, Co-Head of Japan Real Estate

Eric Golden is a Managing Director, Co-Head of Asia and Co-Head of Japan Real Estate.

Prior to joining Fortress in 2008, Mr. Golden was a Director in the private equity division of Credit Suisse Japan focusing on the Asian business of DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners (RECP). Mr. Golden joined RECP in 1999 and subsequently moved to Japan in 2001 as a founding member of RECP Japan team. He has execution experience in distressed loans, portfolio acquisitions, entity investments, asset repositioning, and in-fill development. During his time at RECP Japan, he also spearheaded the development of the China business in 2003.

Mr. Golden is on the board of the non-profit organizations Room to Read Japan and Mirrors for Earth’s Energy Rebalancing. Mr. Golden graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Mathematical Economics.
