Chief Information and Technology Officer

Ms. Gaglione-Austin is a Managing Director and Chief Information and Technology Officer, responsible for the firm’s global IT infrastructure, desktop support, information security, and business continuity planning. As the CITO, Ms. Gaglione-Austin is also responsible for the firm’s AI and automation efforts, firmwide application development and support, and leading the Fortress cybersecurity committee.

Prior to joining Fortress in 2021, Ms. Gaglione-Austin was Co-CTO at KKR, responsible for IT infrastructure, support, information security and application development for private markets, capital formation, capital markets and corporate systems. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Gaglione-Austin led global strategic projects for Credit Suisse Prime Brokerage, served as a product manager for Nyfix / Renaissance Trading Technologies, and was an application development manager at Robertson Stephens and JPMorgan. Ms. Gaglione-Austin began her technology career at the Chase Manhattan Private Bank.

Ms. Gaglione-Austin received a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and an M.B.A from the New York University Stern School of Business.
