Case Studies
Dasi, LLC
In 2017, Fortress made an investment in DASI, LLC, a leading provider of surplus inventory solutions for airlines and maintenance and repair organizations. The investment consisted of a minority equity investment as well as funding for the acquisition of surplus inventory packages. Fortress exited its investment in DASI in 2023 through a sale of its interests to Marubeni Corporation.
ISO Tank Service Provider
Fortress provided debt capital to a leading provider of mission critical transportation and depot services for the ISO chemical tank container industry. Fortress worked with the financial sponsor on an expedited financing process to enable additional acquisitions.
Cardinal Logistics
Fortress provided a senior secured term loan to an affiliate of HIG Capital to support the recapitalization of Cardinal Logistics, a leading provider of dedicated transportation and logistics services in North America. The company’s dedicated contract carriage offering provides fully outsourced solutions to customers seeking to lock in a dedicated fleet and drivers, ensuring exceptional service. Fortress exited its investment in Cardinal when Ryder System Inc. acquired the company in early 2024.
