NEW YORK – February 9, 2026 – Fortress Investment Group today announced that funds managed by its affiliates ("Fortress") have closed a $96 million whole loan for Jasper, a newly developed 296-unit Class A multifamily community located in Downtown Los Angeles, California.
Jasper is owned and was developed by Cityview, a vertically integrated real estate investment manager that specializes in developing and acquiring multifamily projects across the risk spectrum.

The whole loan financing facility was led and arranged by Fortress.
Proceeds from the transaction are being used to refinance existing construction debt and support the ongoing leasing of the new community. Jasper is a 2023-vintage, seven‑story multifamily community located at 2528 South Grand Avenue, proximate to the University of Southern California campus in downtown Los Angeles.
The property features a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom residences with high-end finishes and a comprehensive amenity offering. The community also incorporates affordable housing units.
